The Barn Suite
Our Barn Suite offers the perfect blend of modern design and rustic charm, providing an idyllic setting for your dream wedding. This self-contained suite, with its private entrance and optional pop-up outdoor terrace, consists of two beautifully appointed rooms: the Barn Room and the Barn Lounge. It also features its own private restrooms for added convenience.
Located on the first floor (accessible via stairs), the Barn Room boasts exposed beams, a vaulted ceiling, and an abundance of natural light, making it an ideal space for wedding ceremonies for up to 75 guests and wedding breakfasts for up to 80.
The Barn Lounge, situated on the ground floor, includes its own private bar and a fixed dance floor, perfect for dancing the night away.
Couples who book the Barn Suite typically choose to use the space as follows:
• Wedding civil ceremony in the Barn Room
• Post-ceremony drinks reception in the Barn Lounge
• Wedding breakfast in the Barn Room
• Evening reception with a disco in the Barn Lounge, followed by an evening buffet in the Barn Room
The Barn Lounge
The Barn Lounge is our ultimate party venue! Located on the ground floor, it features its own private bar, making it the perfect spot for evening celebrations for up to 100 guests. With a fixed dance floor and ample space for a buffet, it’s ideal for an unforgettable reception. The Barn Lounge is also licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 45 guests, offering even more flexibility for your special day.
Couples who choose the Barn Lounge typically use the space in the following ways:
• A standalone evening reception venue, with a finger or fork buffet following a wedding ceremony at the Registry Office next door or at Normanton Church
• A wedding civil ceremony in the Barn Lounge, with arrival drinks in Hunters Bar and a wedding breakfast in either the Georgian Suite or Barn Room
• A wedding civil ceremony in the Georgian Suite, with arrival drinks in Barn Lounge and a wedding breakfast or buffet also in the Barn Lounge
The Georgian Suite
Located at the heart of the hotel, our beautiful Georgian Suite is an interconnected space featuring Georgian Rooms 1, 2, and 3. This spacious and characterful suite is on the ground floor, bathed in natural daylight, with French doors that open onto our charming seasonal pop-up terrace*. Perfect for more intimate celebrations, it can accommodate up to 40 guests, depending on your preferred table layout. Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 40 guests, the Georgian Suite is the ideal choice for couples seeking charm and elegance on their special day.
Alternatively. the Georgian Suite 3 can be used as a standalone private dining space making it ideal for more intimate wedding meals of up to 20 guests (depending on table layout).
Couples who select the Georgian Suite typically use the space in the following ways:
• Wedding civil ceremony in the Barn Lounge
• Arrival drinks in Georgian Room 1 and/or the adjacent Hunters Bar
• Seated or buffet meal in Georgian Rooms 2 & 3, with the French doors opening onto the cosy garden area, weather permitting
